RCMP is searching for two men charged in connection with a shooting that injured one person on June 22.
Warrants have been issued for 27-year-old Christopher Ernest of Waterhen Lake First Nation and 23-year-old Brandon McCallum of Canoe Lake Cree First Nation. Meadow Lake RCMP is actively working to locate them.

The charges stem from an incident on Waterhen Lake First Nation. Police responded to a report of gunfire around 2 a.m on June 22.
Officers learned an altercation had taken place among a group of people. A firearm was discharged and an adult man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ernest faces charges of carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose and discharging a firearm with intent.
McCallum is charged with carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose and assault with a weapon.
Ernest is about six feet tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

McCallum is about six feet tall and weighs 220 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his left hand and arm.

Police warn the public not to approach either men.
