Luke Dooley scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Lloydminster Bobcats (1-3) to a 6-2 victory over the Calgary Canucks (2-2) in Alberta Junior Hockey League action Friday night.

After a scoreless opening period at the Cenovus Energy Hub on Sept. 25, the Bobcats took control in the second frame, striking four times to pull ahead.
Shaun Going opened the scoring for Lloydminster at 6:27, followed by a Cash Ganske tally under three minutes later.
The game broke wide open late in the second period during a single Calgary power play. Dooley scored a short-handed marker at 16:45, and Ryder Ellis added another short-handed goal just 12 seconds later to give the host Bobcats a commanding 4-0 lead heading into the second intermission.
Trystyn Sidor put Calgary on the board early in the third period, but Dooley answered on the power play at 9:18 to restore the four-goal cushion. Going added his second goal of the night at 11:32.
Simon Bowland scored a late goal for the Canucks in the final seconds, but the rally fell short.
Bobcats netminder Mark Djomo made 20 saves on 21 shots to earn the victory before Parker Roppelt entered in relief for the final three minutes. Calgary goalkeeper Jaxon Hoye turned away 33 of 39 shots in the loss.
Lloydminster outshot Calgary 39-25 on the night and converted on 1-of-4 power-play opportunities. Calgary finished 0-for-1 on the man advantage.
