A 61-year-old Lloydminster man faces multiple firearm charges after police seized guns and prohibited magazines during a raid at a home in Lloydminster, Sask., earlier this month.

Saskatchewan RCMP said members of the Lloydminster Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team executed a search warrant on July 15 at a residence on 22 St. as part of an ongoing firearms investigation.
Inside the home, officers seized four firearms along with ammunition and prohibited magazines.
Investigators also found that four additional restricted firearms registered for storage at the address were missing. None of the missing weapons had been reported lost or stolen to police.
RCMP noted that Alberta police have since recovered one of the missing guns, while officers are actively searching for the remaining three.
Brian Gogowich of Lloydminster was arrested at the scene. He is charged with three counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited device and four counts of failing to report the loss of a restricted firearm.
Gogowich is scheduled to make his first appearance in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Sept. 14.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
