A 20-year-old Vermilion man faces several charges after an investigation into an alleged relationship with a minor.

On March 24, Vermilion RCMP received a report about the inappropriate relationship.
Police began an investigation and later arrested Spencer Carlson.
He is charged with:
- Sexual Interference;
- Invitation to sexual touching;
- Luring via telecommunication;
- Sexual assault; and
- Possession of child pornography.
Carlson is free in public after appearing before a Justice of the Peace. Meanwhile, he will attend court next on May 5 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Vermilion.
