The reservation window launched on April 13, starting with seasonal sites. Nightly bookings, camp-easy yurts and group sites followed through a staggered release schedule that concludes later this week.
“Our parks provide places to explore, unwind and create lifelong memories,” said parks, culture and sport minister Alana Ross in a release. “We look forward to welcoming visitors back to experience unique trails, family programming, exciting events and nights around the campfire.”
The staggered launch begins at 7 a.m. CST each day to prevent website traffic delays. Campers can still find many available sites for the upcoming summer months now that the initial rush has passed.
The 2026 booking schedule opened as follows:
- April 13: All parks offering seasonal campsites.
- April 14: Candle Lake, Good Spirit Lake, Lac La Ronge, Meadow Lake, Rowan’s Ravine, and Saskatchewan Landing.
- April 15: Blackstrap, Bronson Forest, Buffalo Pound, Duck Mountain, Moose Mountain, and Porcupine Hills.
- April 16: Crooked Lake, Cypress Hills, Danielson, Great Blue Heron, Greenwater Lake, and The Battlefords.
- April 17: Douglas, Echo Valley, Fort Carlton, Makwa Lake, Narrow Hills, and Pike Lake.
A new pilot program is also in effect this year to improve park accessibility. Individuals with a valid Saskatchewan Accessible Parking Program permit from SaskAbilities are now eligible for a 25 per cent discount on daily, weekly and annual entry permits.
To claim the discount, campers must purchase their permits in person at the park and present their valid placard at the time of purchase.
Campers who have not yet booked are still encouraged to log in to the Sask Parks reservation website to update their account information and scout available sites. Annual, weekly, and daily entry permits can be purchased online or upon arrival at the park gate.
Further details on fees and summer programming are available at SaskParks.com.
