Loon Lake RCMP is looking for 26-year-old Isaiah Alexander after receiving reports of a serious assault outside of a business in Loon Lake on July 18.
Officers immediately responded and located an adult male, who was transported to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
Investigation determined a male approached the adult male outside of the business and assaulted him with an edged weapon, then fled.
Officers searched for the suspect by patrolling and using a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System. He was not located.
As a result of continued investigation, Alexander from Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, is charged with:
– one count, aggravated assault, Section 268, Criminal Code;
– one count, assault with a weapon, Section 267(a), Criminal Code; and
– one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88, Criminal Code.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest and Loon Lake RCMP are actively trying to locate him.
Alexander is described as approximately 5’8” and 140 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. A photo of him is attached.
